6. Photo Identity and Authenticity
Warranty of Identity
All photos uploaded to LinkUp must be genuine, current, and accurate representations of the user. We strictly prohibit the use of AI-generated images, stock photos, celebrity photos, or images of other individuals.
When you upload photos, you warrant that:
- Authenticity: Photos are genuine representations of you
- Currency: Photos accurately reflect your current appearance
- Ownership: You own the copyright or have permission to use the photos
- Consent: All individuals in the photos have consented to their use
7. No Verification Disclaimer
Important Notice
LinkUp is a platform for user-generated content and does not independently verify the identity of every user or the authenticity of every photograph. While we use tools to monitor content, you use the service at your own risk.
We are not responsible for:
- • "Catfishing" or identity misrepresentation by other users
- • Fraudulent or misleading profiles
- • Inaccurate photos or information provided by users
- • Any harm resulting from interactions with other users
8. Photo Copyright and Licensing
License Grant
By submitting photos, you warrant that you own the copyright or have obtained permission from the photographer. You grant LinkUp a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display the photo on our platform for the duration of your membership.
This license includes the right to:
- • Display photos on your profile
- • Show photos to other users for matching purposes
- • Use photos for service improvement and moderation
- • Store photos securely on our servers
Termination: The license terminates when you delete your account or remove the photo.
9. Content Monitoring and Removal
LinkUp reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, or delete any photograph deemed inaccurate, fraudulent, or in violation of our Terms.
Enforcement Actions:

10. User Indemnification
Your Responsibility

- • Regulatory fines imposed by POTRAZ
- • Damages awarded to affected parties
- • Investigation and compliance costs
11. Cyber and Data Protection Act Compliance
Legal Warning
Providing false information or impersonating another person may constitute a criminal offense under Section 164C of Zimbabwe's Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07]. We will cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
In case of suspected fraud or identity theft, we may disclose:

12. Data Retention
